Tree Planting

The Tree Planting Ceremony is a tradition in which the senior class jointly plants a young tree as a symbol of the growing knowledge instilled in each of them by their years of study - knowledge that will continue to grow as they travel to university and beyond.

This year's Tree Planting Ceremony was a particularly important milestone as it celebrated both the graduation of our Class of 2009 and Choueifat's tenth year in Doha. On the graduation stage in the school’s gymnasium, year 12 students proudly scooped earth onto their fledging sapling in front of proud parents, teachers, and friends—it was truly a heartwarming and inspiring ritual.
