Admission Policy

All prospective students take diagnostic tests, either at ISC-Doha or atther SABIS® schools, when applicable. The diagnostic tests are administered once all the required documents have been submitted.

Provisional registration may be considered for students who are not able to take diagnostic tests at an existing SABIS® school.. (Please inquire if interested.)

Children applying for Level A (KG1 in Doha, 3+ years by 30th September) to Level C (Grade 1 Doha, 5+ years on 30th September) will have individual, personal interviews as a part of the admissions process.

Parents of all students will be invited to register their child once results from diagnostic tests or interviews are provided.

The school does not guarantee or reserve places. Places are guaranteed only when the required fees have been paid. Parents who delay registration may find no places available when they come to register.

Some candidates may find that student expectations in our system vary from those of other schools in the region. Our system places considerable emphasis on student accountability, responsibility, and respect of self and others. Thus, our system strives to enforce discipline in the school in order to facilitate student learning and promote good manners. Students who are used to more liberal systems need to adapt to our code of behavior, discipline, and general appearance.
