History

The International School of Choueifat - Doha opened in September 1999 to provide a high-quality education for students from KG1 to Grade 9. In its first year of operation, ISC-Doha welcomed 350 students to a temporary campus. In September of 2004, the school moved to its permanent campus and currently boasts an enrollment of 1500 students.

Achievements

This year, ISC-Doha is celebrating 10 years of academic achievements. ISC-Doha graduated its first class in academic year 2002-2003. Since then, the school has been sending its graduates to join top universities around the world. Most recently, 10 out of 20 students from Grade 12 got accepted in Texas A & M Qatar without the typical personal applicant interview.

In addition to qualifying students for admission to the top colleges and universities around the world, ISC-Doha prepares students every year to sit for a range of college-level exams administered by leading providers of internationally recognized examinations, such as Cambridge, the College Board, and most recently TOEFL. Results from the 2008 examination session continued to reflect ISC-Doha's commitment to achieving high standards. Among the results earned on external exams, IGCSE results for the spring 2008 session showed that 92% of ISC-Doha students who sat IGCSEs earned A*-C.
